Fall-isciousness
I'm so excited about fall. The crispness in the air changes my whole outlook. It's so refreshing! In honor of the new season I put together a collection of fun items that say "fall" to me: nail polish in a deep purple, coffee, warm browns, leopard print, military green vest, black accessories with gold studs, and what's that there? A cute little DipDaDip notepad. ;) Enjoy and happy fall y'all!!

Livin' My Life Like it's Golden

I used to not like gold very much, but lately I can't get enough of it. There's something modern and refreshing about it. It's classy and basically serves as a neutral in that it can go with anything.
I love these gloriously gold Etsy finds. The 1940s vintage gold shoes are my favorite, but I'm thinking the "Hey y'all!" print might find its way to my living room wall very soon. ;) And, best of all, it's from a handmade entrepreneur based here in Nashville! If you can, check these shops out and show them some love.

Spring Dream
I just want to get out my spring clothes and start mixing in some new additions for this year! Problem is, this Tennessee weather is so fickle!! As I daydream about warmer weather, I guess it wouldn't hurt to dream about new spring clothes too...
...I'd be dreaming about metallic gold, prints in black and white, a little mint and light pink, button up shirts, a-line dresses and skirts, loafers, and some fun new shorts!!!! And don't forget basics like airy tees and some colorful skinny jeans and white jeans too (if I can muster up the courage to wear them, but I'm dreaming and in my dreams I'm brave enough).
Come on spring! Quit holding out on us!

Wanna-get-away Weekenders
The weather here in Middle Tennessee has been ridiculous lately and all I can think about is going somewhere to get away. I mean, I would go ANYWHERE just to see the sun shine and feel a nice crisp breeze. So, in the spirit of getting away, I present a collection of vintage and handmade weekender bags that are perfect for your next short little trip. I have had my current weekender for almost 5 years and it's slowly falling apart. It has lots of travel memories attached to it, but the zipper pull has fallen off so I think it's time to let go. ;)
Here are my lovely finds....hope you and I can both get away soon!

2. Klover Fabric Tote by TanneiCasey
3. Vintage Black Leather Weekender from MightyVintage

Come on spring!!!
It is actually slightly sunny outside today and it's got me thinking about all the things I look forward to with the spring season. New spring clothes, reviving our outdoor spaces, grilling, and simply seeing the sun again!! So in honor of the upcoming season, here are 10 things to make your spring beautiful!!
1. Flower boxes.
Makes any porch say "Come on over and hang out a while!"

Here are some options I recently found:

2. Colorful denim.
So color denim is the new hotness I guess. I'm not sure about wearing mint green pants, but I could see pairing some red denim with a striped nautical sweater and some sandals.
3. Loafers.
These are almost like wearing slippers, but way more stylish. While the Charles Phillip loafers above will run you about $135, Urbanog.com has some pretty cute pairs on the cheap.
4. Day clutch.
Day clutches are perfect for storing your essentials. Just grab and go, or throw a clutch into your larger work or school bag to help keep things separate and organized. You can find many options for clutches all over, but if you want something unique and affordable I suggest trying etsy.com.
Here are some options I recently found:
Fold-over clutch by Frankandgertrude
Chevron fold-over clutch by JessieBlume
Oversized zipper clutch by Krust

5. Pink lips.
Hard Candy Tinted Lip Balm in Fishnet
Clinique Almost Lipstick in Flirty Honey
6. Fun round sunglasses.
From Forever 21: a steal at $5.80!!!
I found this vintage pair on eBay for $8.00!
7. Neon nails.
This is about as far as I will take the neon trend. ;)
Try China Glaze Nail Lacquer in Orange Knockout.
8. Colorful lanterns and lights for your outdoor space.
9. Floral sundress.
10. Sweet cardigan.
